Accessibility Statement

How accessible the Sharpe Blue website is, what has been checked, and how to tell us about a barrier.

Last updated: September 2026.

This statement applies to www.sharpeblue.com. It does not cover third-party services we link to, or content we do not control.

What we are aiming for

We want the site to be usable by as many people as possible, including anyone using a screen reader, navigating by keyboard alone, or relying on magnification or high contrast. The standard we work to is WCAG 2.2 level AA.

How accessible this site is

The site has not been independently audited, so we do not claim full conformance. These are the things we have checked ourselves:

  • Every page declares its language and has one main heading.
  • A “Skip to content” link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches on every page.
  • Images carry alternative text.
  • Keyboard focus is shown with a visible outline wherever you are on the page.
  • Tables carry a caption and header markup, so a screen reader can say which heading belongs to which cell.
  • The layout works down to a phone-width screen without side-scrolling, and wide tables scroll inside their own container rather than dragging the page with them.

We have not yet tested the site with a screen reader, and we have not checked every colour combination against the contrast requirement. Anything we find, we fix.

Telling us about a problem

If you are not happy with our response

Technical information

This site is a static website. It is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA: “partially conformant” means some parts do not yet fully conform, or have not been assessed.

What we are doing about it

  • Testing the site with a screen reader and fixing what that finds.
  • Checking colour contrast across the site against the AA threshold.
  • Reviewing the labels on every form field.

This statement was prepared in September 2026 and is reviewed when the site changes substantially.
